BROS-INDIA manufactures and exports many natural products in addition to natural coir products like Palmyra Brush fibers, Rubber Wood Products, Jute products, Rubber/latex Backed coir products, Coir carpets, etc.

All these products can be divided into following broad categories: -

PRODUCT 1: FLOOR COVERING

 

a.       Coir door mats: - Brothers coil mills P Ltd, manufactures and exports coir door mats in required pile height, size, and shape. Popular qualities: Beach Creel, Vycome, Creel, and Carnatic Creel.

Any design can be stenciled (printed) and the printing can be done with coir dyes (CD) and enamel paint (EP) mats are available in Natural color of coir (NL), Bleached (BL) Rubber backed and all sides glued mats with latex for fine finish is also available.

PRODUCT 2: AGRICULTURE PRODUCTS

 

a.       Coir Yarn

 

Coir Yarn is basically used for the production of all coir floor furnishings, Construction Works, geo textiles, agricultural products etc. It is best natural support for creeping plants in Green houses and Farms. Coir Yarn controls humidity and create a suitable climate for the effective growth of plants. It is spinned out of 100% natural coir fiber obtained from coconut husk.

 

Coir yarn is available in forms of “Jhottas”, “dhols”, “bobbins”, “spools”,and Hydraulically pressed bales.

b.       Coir Agrotex

 

Coir Agrotex are coir nettings in different sizes. Various types of nettings and textiles (this is used by farmers for green houses/ nurseries). Agrotex absorbs water and maintains same level of humidity. It protects plants and crops against extreme sunlight, wind, frost and hail storms and pest and insects.

c.       Coir Geotextiles: -

 

Coir Geo textiles are a range of woven open mesh fabrics made from 100% natural and biodegradable coir netting installed on the surface to hold seed and soil intact during the establishment of vegetative cover. When it biodegrade it add organic nutrients to the soil. Coir Geotextiles are “Environment Friendly “products.


Coir Geotextiles are widely used for civil engineering applications and land and slop stabilization applications. Coir Geotextiles have the mechanical strength necessary to hold soil in place and prevent erosion. The nettings break up runoff from heavy rains and dissipate the energy of flowing water and wind. Coir also promotes the growth of new vegetation by absorbing water and preventing the top soil from drying out.


Coir Geotextiles are easy to install and since it is biodegradable no work is required after the installation .Coir Geotextiles have double the life of jute and higher tensile strength than other geotextiles. It provides good support on slopes for about five years. This allows sample time for natural vegetation to take over the job of holding the soil in place.


Coir Geotextiles are available in various densities to suit the soil condition of various densities to suit the soil condition of various site of application.

D.       BRO Coir Logs

Coir Logs are long coir knotted nettings filled with coir fiber. Coir Logs are widely used on stream banks, sea shores, and lake shores for controlling the sand slide. It is also used in desert areas for controlling sand overcomes.


Coir Logs can be cut into sections and stacked for stream bank stabilization fluids containment, or used separately for check structures.
