Technology Description

•  Managed by experienced technocrats and R&D experts, EM Electronix (EMEL) dedicated to the excellence in the areas of microprocessor based Process control instrumentation, Power electronics and Strategic electronics. The Company has provided import substitution quality products to Defence, space, textile, Power and Engineering sector.

•  EMEL has full fledged production wing equipped with all latest machines such as automatic component formation / insertion machines, wave soldering machine, component burn-in chambers, antistatic handling gears, etc.

•  The entire QC procedures from procurement of Components to despatch of finished products are documented in Company Quality Manual designed based on IS / MIL / IPC etc. standards. The QC starts from selection of components of very high grade with appropriate derating. All inward components are inspected and screened with latest inspection test equipments such as IC testers, LCR Bridge, PCB Insp. equipment, Transformer tester etc. All inspections and test equipments are calibrated by ETDC/ ERTL/ Govt. of India Lab. The fabrication and assembly operations are subjected to workmanship standards such as IPC 770B, IPC 610 etc.

•  The equipment manufactured by the Company undergoes burn-in tests for 160 hr. at elevated temperatures in a walk-in chamber facility available in the Company. The designs finalized by R & D department undergo all the environmental tests like dry heat tests, temperature cycling humidity tests etc., in automatic controlled dry heat/Damp heat/Low temperature cycling Environmental chamber available in the Company. The QC procedure continues till the drop test is conducted on the final packed sample before dispatch.

•  The R & D is equipped with the latest state of the art development tools, on software and hardware like logic analyzer from HP, storage Oscilloscope from HP / Tektronix up to 500 MHz bandwidth, 8 bit and 16 bit microprocessor / micro controller development system etc., It has a separate CAD department equipped with multilayer PCB artwork software and plotter to work on the PCB design.

•  Air Jet Look Weft Selector is useful in selecting the colours.

•  Automobile Transmission Control Unit is a device that controls modern electronic automatic transmissions. A Transmission Control Unit generally uses sensors from the vehicle as well as data provided by the Engine Control Unit to calculate how and when to change gears in the vehicle for optimum performance, fuel economy and shift quality.
