Technology Description

• GILIYAL's centrifugal air blowers are carefully and efficiently designed to render high performance with uninterrupted service. Divided into two classes namely direct driven and indirect type, they are grouped according to their application: Combustion or pressure blowers, Suction or induced draft blowers and circulating fans and blowers.
• Combustion air blowers are fabricated from heavy gauge steels and structurals. These blowers are supplied with V-belt drive or drive through flexible coupling and are available from 1 to 60 H.P. with discharge capacities from 100 CFM to 6000 CFM (160 to 10000 CM/HR.) and pressures from 4 to 56 inch SWG.
• Suction or induced draft blowers are high volumetric but low-pressure blowers generally used to handle hot gases or hot air. Below 80 deg. C, the blowers are direct drive type, but above they are either belt driven or driven through flexible couplings. Sizes available are 0.5 Hp to 100 HP capacities 35,400 CFM at static pressures of 25 to 300 MMWG. Only standard speeds of 720, 960, 1440 and 2880 RPM can be had with direct drive and flexible couple drives.
