For implementing the Official Language Policy of the Government, there is a Hindi Section in the Department. This Section puts efforts for implementing the provisions of Official Language Act, Rules and orders/instructions issued by the Department of Official Language from time to time regarding progressive use of Hindi in the Department.

[ 9/4/2019 ] - Hindi Pakhwada was celebrated during 11-22 September, 2018 in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology. On this occasion various competitions like Hindi noting and drafting, Hindi translation, Hindi essay, Hindi typing, Hindi 1 shorthand, Hindi dictation (dictation) only for MTS, Official language policy, questions related to knowledge of Acts and Rules, Hindi debate competitions etc. were held.
